Learning Services
General Information
Learning Services provides training on the ADP National Account Services - West National Service Center (NSC) systems and tools and increases your company's return on investment on outsourced employee administrative services.
West NSC learning services include:
- Extensive hands-on training - courses are facilitated by professional Learning Consultants using a training database, allowing them to focus the learning on concepts as well as meaningful hands-on activities, which comprise up to 50% of the course time.
- Individualized attention - a maximum enrollment of 15 participants.
- Training you need - courses are constantly being enhanced and added across the entire suite of West NSC services and systems to meet the needs of your organization.
- Training environment – where participants are able to attend the entire session without interruption.
Most courses are eligible for Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) Recertification Hours (RCH). The number of RCH's is noted within the course description. Learning Options
West NSC Site Courses
The West NSC features state-of-the art training facilities in Pleasanton, California and also in La Palma, California. All instructor-led courses described below are offered regularly at one or more of these locations. Refer to the course schedule for a listing of courses offered by location. Client Site Courses
Upon request and learning consultant availability, courses can be taught at your facility. This alternative to Pleasanton NSC site training allows you and other members of your organization to receive training in a familiar environment, minimizing travel time and costs. Courses are taught in a lecture/lab format using equipment provided by the client. We supply the learning consultant, software, and all course materials. All courses are subject to a six person minimum and a 15 person maximum attendance requirement. Contact our team of training coordinators at Contact Us for additional information. In order to ensure an effective client-site learning environment, the client is asked to provide the following:
- A functional training room.
- A work area and PC for each participant.
- A PC and LCD display which can be used to project PC images on-screen.
- A white board.
- Instructor access to the training facility the day before the training, so that the room can be set up and the training database installed at each PC.
- A designated technical support representative on hand to assist the instructor in the event of any hardware or software issues.
- An environment in which participants are able to attend the entire session without interruptions.
Private Courses
Upon request, private courses can be arranged exclusively for members of your organization at one of our education centers. This is the ideal solution if your company needs to train a large group of people on a particular course or series of courses at one time. On Demand Courses
If our published course schedule does not meet your scheduling requirements, or if your staff needs immediate training, we can schedule additional course dates for you based on learning consultant and facility availability.
